I’ve always been pretty eager to see what DQM have in store each season. TheNew York skate shop seems to never let down. They’ve made a name for themselves mixing the aesthetic of workwear with skateboarding. The Spring collection is yet again appropriate and full of the essentials. Including colour-block anoraks, short sleeved denim shirts, shorts and a selection of hunting inspired hats.
The collection is now online and available in store.
I’m a big fan of Saucony’s and it’s nice to see a collaboration with Hanon. The Shadow Master is a running shoe which Hanon have mixed two of their favourite silhouettes from Saucony’s designs. They’ve combined the Master Control with the sole of a Shadow 5000. It’s different and the colours and fabric used has been executed well that it works. Of course there is also detailing, Hanon putting their stamp on it which brings it all together.
Back in Novemeber, details surfaced of this eagerly expected collaboration between Japan’s Atmos and Nike. Doing their take on the Air Max 1, they’ve given us two to choose from with the jungle camo and black snakeskin or the desert leopard. There’s also matching shirts and hats following the same patterns in the pack.
Stussy have released the lookbook for their Stussy Deluxe range. The lookbook showcases the usual staple pieces from jackets, tees, button-up shirts and trousers, all fitting with the season and mostly light in weight. Bold prints are big and Stussy have included Hawaiian and polka-dot prints.
Released a day ago, Norse Projects have given us a peak at what to expect from their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Featuring knits, printed shirts, jackets and shorts fitting the season. They’re are some pretty bold prints incorporated into the season which perfectly mix with the more neutral variations in the collection.
First drop has already happened and available via their online store.
Every year we have graced with the definitive catalog of streetwear, All Gone is back for it’s annual issues documenting the past year. The seventh edition in the series has a paisley cover by Ill Studio, featuring a range of sneakers, t-shirts and decks from the past year. It’s limited edition as usual.
Now available from select retailers including Foot Patrol.
Carhartt Heritage have released the lookbook for their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Mixing workwear with streetwear the Heritage range delivers garments which are bold and practical. With windbreakers and the work-man jacket there’s plenty of outerwear and as always, the pants. There’s also the Carhartt x Diemma collaboration to look forward to featuring the Marostica shoe in low and mid pro.
I got to have a shoop on these a few days ago. Earlier today Carhartt released their first preview to everyone for their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The campaign ad is by Alexander Bastille featuring a behind-the-scenes style shoot showcasing the workwear cuts. Have a look for yourselves.
This year has seen the Huarache be pushed back into the limelight with several releases in varied silhouettes. Set to release this 2013 coming tomorrow, the Huarache Light Free in a black and grey colourway. It’s been updated with the free sole and black and grey leather uppers.
Already on pre-order, the re-release of the the classic OG edition of the AM90 is selling quick. Like the original colourway the shoe features multi-layered uppers with black, grey and infrared. The difference with these is the vintage detailing on the sole with the off white. Personally the sole ruins it for me as i’m not a fan of the off white in general. I’ll leave you guys to decide!
Available to pre-order now from stockists such as Hanon Shop.
I’m big on the Carhartt label and the autumn/winter heritage collection continues to release practical yet fashionable garments. The latest editorial has been shot in various backgrounds including the outdoors and a workshop. It gives us a taste of the jackets, camo trousers, vests, button down shirts and winter hats.
This year we’ve seen n increase in popularity for the Asics Gel Lyte III. The Caviar release was originally a European only one but it made it’s return to Kith. Sadly these were, of course, much sort after and sold out. Predominantly black with a splash of vibrant red and speckle on the sole they are still pretty eye catching. Made up of various materials and textures, they have been well composed down to every little detail.
There’s been a big drop in temperature recently and Stussy have released there outerwear collection for this season just in time. In the collection we see updates of classic outerwear garments such as the varsity and work jackets, as well as this quilted down coat above.
